Why's The Chamber of Commerce protecting its sheiks? Don't United States voters have the right to know Who, through The Chamber, is buying elections With unidentifiable Bahrainian dough? No way will the FEC ever determine How much Chamber money they raised overseas. Thanks to Scalia's Supreme Court decision They won't have to come clean and risk guilty pleas. Is ideology or illegality worse For a lobbying firm? Will its clients forget? And won't Democrats whom The Chamber's attacked Develop an anti-Bahrain, anti-Chamber mindset? Surely the public is not going to trust them. Other services offered will likely be met With grave suspicions of fraud and deception It's a weird reputation they're bound to regret. Some thought The Chamber was the place to get help When regular channels were not up to snuff. But who would have guessed that The Chamber itself Would ever indulge in nefarious stuff?
