Another Gold Digger
Lame duck Senator Chris Dodd

Why would Chris Dodd water down
    calls for a working agency?
Has he other plans afoot
to increase his do re mi?

Maybe he expects to be
    a consultant at the Fed.
Has the role been hinted at?
Is it something Ben has said?

A power grab like that is tempting,
a chance to brake up Goldman Saxe.
Maybe Dimon's days are numbered.
Would J. P. Morgan feel his axe?

Otherwise why use the guys
who catered to Wall Street's demise
Even though Ben has no plans
    for sacking Alan Greenspan's fans?

But doesn't that still beg the question?
How long has Dodd been involved?
Won't it be more of the same old
    without the problem being solved?

What if Chris decides that smaller's
    not as lucrative as bigger?
Who will write the bill condemning
Chris Dodd as the Fed's gold digger?
