Campaign Contributions And Corruption
(Enough corporate bucks and he's theirs)

Campaign contributions from big corporations?
It's a form of corruption approved by the high court.
Who's kidding who that when Exxon contributes
They're not buying deniers of some climate report?

Come out against it or say goodbye to the funding.
Exxon's Oil Mafia can be terribly cruel
To those who accept their cash contributions
But turn out not to be a bonafide fossil fool.

They'll back a fly-boy with no political smarts
As long as he loyally lies and plays his bit parts.
Bounced from the Congress after only one term?
Exxon has a home for each ex-pachyderm,

Just as long as the Congress does Tillerson's bidding
And keeps the public believing Jim Hansen is kidding,
While taking no actions to prevent global warming
And doing its job of climate change misinforming.

What Exxon calls funding is plain old corruption.
Money is not to supposed to be changing hands.
Seitz, Singer, and M.I.T.'s Lindzen
All deserve to be buried in Alberta's tar sands.
