Are they all completely clueless?
What did bankers know and when
do you think that they knew it?
We're told that J.P. Morgan didn't;
that Dimon simply blew it.
Blythe Masters
never warned him?
They both were out to lunch?
Weren't her Credit Default Swaps
the agents of the credit crunch?
Likewise the Rev'rend Blankfein
who attributes it to God,
Who may have been distracted
and never saw Blythe's 'tools' as flawed.
Or are they all self-serving bastards
and as dumb as some suspect?
Isn't that the first thing that
Bernanke should have checked?
Yet as idiot savants
they seem to have a crying need
To exercise their talent
for exploiting human greed.
Dustin wasn't put in jail,
but in an institution.
Why not the same for these 'poor' souls
while we seek restitution?
