Rupert Murdoch's Scotland Yard
Holmes and Lestrade would not be amused

Do all Murdoch tabloids hack British cellphones?
Does his Wall Street Journal
get its news the same way:
The Times says Brit hacking was very extensive,
With hundreds affected.
    Scotland Yard? Who are they?

Has the New Scotland Yard been abdicating?
How many cops can his tabloids have bought
That they have to depend
on a New York Times team
Of reporters to augment any clues that they've got?

How embarrassing to be reduced to relying
On U.S. reporters to help solve their crimes?
Holmes would be saddened to learn British Police,
Like Britain's oil drillers, are well past their primes.

It's shameful to let Rupert be so influential
That he could convince Cameron and The Yard
That attempting to prosecute Editor Coulson
Without Sherlock's help would be frightfully hard.

What worries us here in the U.S. of A.
Is not just how much of his hacks' expertise
He's passed along to his anti-Obamans,
But which CIA hackers he's been able to lease.

Scotland Yard is old hat. We couldn't care less.
But, God forbid, he infiltrates MI-5.
PBS viewers who refuse to watch Fox
Would insist Adam skin Andy Coulson alive.
