They're a clear and present danger to themselves, To their neighbors and their friends, To anyone at all who still pretends They're not a frightful danger to themselves. Because they are the Congress, they need to be committed, And with their own straightjackets be outfitted. And since they're who they are, no one will second guess the reason. If they were sane, why would they risk being charged with treason And end up in Guantanamo with little chance they'd be acquitted? Pleas of mass insanity are their only hope. Any other lame excuses? Absolutely nope. How could we stomach any kind of a reprieve? What judge would ever possibly believe That each of them could be that much of a dope?
