Doing Away With Career Politicians (We don't even need to impose term limits) Jim DeMint has to know his term limit amendment Is not going to pass and cut short his career. What politician doesn't dread unemployment And the prospect of being tossed out on his ear? We can't let that stop us. Overstaying is bad. Ideologies sprout and will not go away. Ohio is warning us to abort in the bud. If any hang on, make sure they rue the day. Doing away with career politicians Must be our objective this next time around. If running for office is their prime source of income, Let's take away Congress as their battleground. Show corporate sponsors it's wasteful to spend Unlimited funds on a bunch of has-beens. Prove it's the candidate with the most votes, Not the one with big donors who ultimately wins. All those years of Mitch "Nos" has gotten us what? How much more negativity will be required Until Mitch discovers one bright November morning That we've had enough of his guff. He's been fired. It won't matter one iota what Dirty Coal spent To make us believe we like hearing Mitch bitch. As long as he does we assuredly don't And will do whatever it takes to ditch Mitch.
