FedEx Still Delivers?
(You've got to be kidding)

FedEx wants out of the delivery business
A business that they're not terribly competent at?
"Don't Wait For Your Package. Let It Wait For You"
It's pretty darn hard to be clearer than that.

FedEx drivers don't like delivering.
Personal experience: here's what one did:
Left package dangling out by the road
Walking it to the door was too much for the kid.

How hard is it to find delivery boys who'll deliver?
How much does it cost to keep trucks on the road?
And they want to take over the U. S. Postal Service?
While FedEx is so incompetent and easily buffaloed?

UPS on the other hand takes two hour lunch breaks,
Preferably in the mid-afternoon,
Parked towards the end of a dead-end street,
Saving on gas, and wear and tear on the tires,
All items UPS management knows aren't picayune.

And both think they'd do better than our friendly mailman?
But can they guarantee that our costs won't increase?
Limit their CEOs' pay to that of the Postmaster General?
Watch their interest in taking it over abruptly cease.
