Fire From A Faucet
(America's Natural Gas does it best, but smoking is risky)

What can America's Natural Gas do for you?
Put scary amounts of methane in your glass.
Sure, they avoid the particulate matter
From coal, but methane is still not that friendly a gas.

And if methane is migrating deep underground
Through the earth's cracks and fissures, then what's to prevent
The chemicals used in hydraulic fracturing
From eventually becoming more self-evident?

Can't wait till your faucet yields 10-W-30,
Or five dollar premium? You'll be getting it free.
Don't throw away all those empty wine bottles.
This stuff could be worth more than Costco Chablis.

So maybe at first your methane's diluted
And OK to drink, but it still could explode.
We hate to think, God forbid, that might happen
While someone is anywhere near the commode.

America's Natural Gas prob'ly means well,
Or so it would seem if you've seen their ads.
But how much do you think your Mother should sue for
If the family jewels they burn up are your Dad's?
