Is a warrantless wiretap inherently bad If the tappee or tapper's no Nixonian grad? If the tapped information can't be otherwise had But will drive Old Mac sycophants demonstrably mad? Why is stopping it so damn important to some? We'd love to hear Cheney reduced to "How Come?" And Addington barf when they see the e-mails Verizon has saved about CIA jails. Who authorized torture, who defined it for Bush? Who'll end up in prison, his head still up his tush? Did an ethical genius write the inexact First Indiscriminatory Snarks Act? Why does it matter which Snark you go after? Who but a fool would discriminate? It could be Al Qaeda, a sub-prime mortgage drafter, Or Old Mac's advisors who're getting the gate, A new Wall Street pigeon who's dying to learn How much Phil Gramm shaves on his next tax return, A Mafia chief with a Swiss bank account Who heard UBS blew the total amount. They seek them with warrants, they seek them without, And still they don't know what the fuss is about, Or how inexact thinking caused them to enact The First Indiscriminatory Snarks Act.
