What is their history of finding their leaks?
Do they stop them immediately, or fairly promptly?
Do they claim they will in minutes? In hours? Days or weeks?
How many welds for each mile of pipeline?
How many inspectors? Are welds frequently checked?
How many shutoffs and how far apart?
How long to repair the leaks they detect?
How many barrels does it hold between shutoffs?
How many of those barrels will end up on the ground
Free to seep along their merry way
Into whatever acquifer's lying around?
Pray that it's not one that you depend on
For your morning coffee and chateaubriand.
