I'm Aggravated
Old Mac pouts and sulks

My Friends
I'm sullen and I'm sulky, but what did you expect?
My age has started having a significant effect.
I lose my temper quickly and say things I should not.
I'm the school boy playing hooky, annoyed that he's been caught.

I stammer and I sputter lookng for some lame excuse
To try to make some sense of what I said, but it's no use.
Some say my mem'ry's slipping, but so far I have refused
To reveal in public that I'm easily confused.

Don't try to tell me World War Two came after World War One,
Or that Afghanistan's began before Iraq's begun.
As my sycophants go to stupendous lengths in pointing out,
"Who knows which Bushie Iraq war Mac was bandying about?"

"Go East, young man", I may have said, when I meant "Go West",
Forgetting for the moment somewhere in-between was best.
Like staying here at home to remind me Phil Gramm's vices
Contributed to higher home and lower fuel oil prices.
