Meet ALEC
(Your red state legislative Talibanhood hates horses and golf)
Red state legislatures must not be as creative
As
'Radical' Ryan's Congress showed it can be.
They depend upon ALEC for drafting state laws.
Could be why we see so much uniformity.
Some states will
suffer from natural gas drilling
While ALEC assures them it's the luck of the draw.
Yet one DC Republican, all on his own,
Says we'll solve the debt limit by selling Utah.
Why are we blessed with such Republican genius?
Ryan at the Fed level and
ALEC at State,
Both of them vying for corporate dollars
And putting the screws to poor people they hate.
So what's wrecking havoc in
poor Pennsylvania?
Water undrinkable by lovely old horses.
And it could do a number in North Carolina.
What's bad for Dobbin could be bad for golf courses.
ALEC is not that well-known to the public,
But sure is to
Walker, Snyder, Daniels, Corbett and LaPage
Who'll all make it harder to vote in their red states
As more and more non-whites start coming of age.
