Nuclear Cover-ups (Inspections, lies and maintenance here and abroad) How many warnings did TEPCO not heed How many warnings did they never get Because they and their regulators all shared Unhealthy ties and a nuclear mind-set. They all want more nuclear, but dread the cost Of repairing the old and constructing the new. So all have engaged in a hist'ry of lying. God help you if any operate close to you. TEPCO is blaming the earthquake and tsunami. But only a few weeks before the disaster TEPCO admitted they'd failed to inspect Cooling system equipment. They simply bypassed 'er. Aren't these the same generators and pumps Delaying their efforts to stop more melting down? With the cracks and corrosion they all knew about That are causing so many to get out of town? How many days did our own authorities need To give clean bills of health to all U.S. reactors? How long does it take to assess earthquake risks So we can be sure they looked at all the factors?
