Paulson's Quid Pro Quo Once a banker always a banker We bankers faked out Congress. Where did their billions go? I've changed my mind so many times they'll never ever know. Refinance shaky mortgages? That's what they said to do. As a future mortgage banker, I'm the wrong one to ask to. When I leave here I want those rates as high as they can be. Like Robert Rubin they're my key to selectivity In choosing which bank boards will pay the most for quid pro quo. Quid that I am making sure they all know who they owe.
