Playing to Wall Street's Funny Side
Mrs. J.A. Withington III discusses CNBC's comedic potential

What Widow Withington regrets
is, up until her husband died,
How completely unaware
she'd been of Wall Street's funny side.
"Players, blind to where they're playing,
think more on Red gives them an edge
When Black's where Buffett's bet his billions
and some hedge funds no longer hedge.

"Puts and calls and default swaps
are toys with which Wall Streeters play
On the Floor and their P.C.s.
    Anyone can join the fray.
Need more play-dough? Buy on margin.
    Leverage that winning hand.
Play as if you're still in Vegas.
    Make everyday a one-night stand.

"The web is here for market prices,
    up-to-date, with current news.
CNBC's left with one function.
    It's raison d'etre? To amuse
With sexy babes and sad faced comics:
    Maria, Erin, Larry, Mark
Deliberating mark-to-market
while Cramer whistles in the dark,

"Concerned Jon Stewart has recordings
    of all predictions Cramer's made.
Fortunately last October
he warned, 'Stop drinking my Kool Aid.
Sell ev'rything I've recommended.
This is going to be real bad.'
But Cramer still has not said if he
first sold short the stocks I had.

"All six talking; no one listening –
    That's co-hosting to excess.
Haines' glasses off and on routine's
a shtick, I find, fails to impress.
CNBC needs bailing out
    using Cramer's waves as means
For mocking squawking Kudlow-Haines
till they appear in Jon's routines."
