Why, just fill in the blanks where it says, "Your state name here", Then spend time with your interns out painting the town. It's easy to be as extremist as ALEC, To screw up as badly as they help others do, To make sure Rick Perry wins every state primary So what he's done to Texas he can do to you, too. How long before ALEC can disseminate Rick Perry's agenda for selling state roads To corporations who'll tax you with tolls Based on miles traveled and the size of truck loads? Rick's practice of cannibalizing gas taxes And shifting the blame for raising the tolls To pay for the maintenance Rick should have been doing, Is the one hope he has to look good in the polls. But God has a way of dealing with scoundrels. It didn't take Enron's Ken Lay that long to find out. You'd hope ALEC would see Texas as Perry's Enron So your own legislators don't follow Rick's route.
