Rose Colored Glasses
(Why should we care?)

We've turned a blind eye to Berger corruption
But raised Holy Hell at Afghanistan fraud.
Berger's a specialist in overbilling
Construction contracts where their work is flawed.

Why prosecute guilty Berger executives
If Koch pays Scalia to let them go free?
Well, at least for a while they might be distracted
From doubling or tripling their usual fee.

Why'd anyone tell us the Kochs paid Scalia?
Tax-exempt oranizations like the AFJS
Sidestep disclosure rules for funding campaigns.
They know we don't care who provides the largess.

Find something great about Karzai's 'irregularities'?
More NATO countries could develop cold feet.
Yeah, maybe so many we'll decide to ditch Karzai
And watch him be mauled by their 'man-in-the-street'.

Without Koch contributions what can bad guys corrupt with?
Or overbill for? Or use as a reason to stall?
Until the Kochs 'need' Afghan mineral rights,
Why wake-up Mitch for a let's-go-to-war call?
