Obama's Gulf War –
Selling BP et al. Short, Now?
When did Texaco stop giving away free road maps?

By August twenty, two thousand and ten
Two point three million more barrels could leak.
Will that be the end of the bounty we'll see?
Or does that depend on the same clowns' technique?

Would you bet your money relief wells will work?
AIG's selling swaps, they're so sure that they will.
That could cost taxpayers billions in bailouts
Now that Blankfein told Goldman to bet on the spill.

By shorting those swaps and oil mafia stocks,
And blackballing shrimp as a healthy cuisine,
They'll profit by knowing that BP's disaster
Is far from the largest Gulf blowout they've seen.

Mexico's Ixtoc I holds that distinction
And only took ten months for experts to cap
In one hundred and sixty-four feet of water –
Not five thousand feet with a Texaco map.

The chances of BP's relief wells locating
The pipe that is leaking? Hang a right? Hang a left?
Fifty million more barrels are now in Macondo –-
Instead of petty, will the charge be grand theft?
