Your Prime Minister's proud that so many gave their lives
For our great petrostate, Canada, and our beloved tar sands.
We'll celbrate your deaths with a day of high fives.
Once you've buried your relatives, neighbors and friends,
I'm sure you'll pitch in and clean up our tar,
Being as loyal to our party and Canada,
As I've been reassured by my aides that you are.
This little boo-boo on the part of Rail World and Big Oil
Won't happen much longer in Canada where we hate the smell.
As soon as our good neighbors just to our south
Approve and start using their leaky Keystone XL.
It's hard to imagine but some of them are not willing
To sacrifice their lives and
their friable soil
For the sake of our glorious and grand petroleum state,
And the modest millions we'll owe the chiefs of Rail World and Big Oil.
