(Letting L. Blankfein fill L. Summers' shoes)

Anonymous sources have confirmed that L. Blankfein's
Spokesperson admitted Lloyd was seen last night
Coming out of a previously undisclosed meeting
That might help Obama to win one last fight.

His Roger Altman interview had worried Lloyd.
Why waste his one term on a hedge fund boutique
Proprietor instead of the powers that be
Able to deal with his op-ed critique.

Who the hell wants a banana republic
Which is all Roger's "Hedge Fund Republic" would be?
How could Lloyd's traders achieve their ambition
Of owning those islands tax and cholera free?

Summers and Geithner were on the right track,
But Elizabeth Warren got in their way.
L. Summers is bailing while Geithner hangs in there,
Too meek as always to have much of a say.

But Blankfein can not only fill L. Summers' shoes.
He'll fill his galoshes and talk T-bills as well.
The public may hate it but Wall Street will love it,
Like Tiger's response to the nearest bombshell.
