What will we charge Harper for each barrel of water
As soon as he's let Big Oil suck his tar sands rivers dry?
He'll have billions of dollars of open pit mining equipment
Sitting idle just waiting for a few drops from the sky.
Medicine men from Alberta's native tribes
Will be strutting their rain dances, but will it be enough?
All those projects tha Alberta government authorized
Require huge quantities of water to produce saleable stuff.
Can pipelines be reversed to flow south to north?
Will we part with our water for a reasonable price,
Or stick it to Shell, BP amd Imperial,
Recalling that Big Oil has not always played nice?
Do we have any left that we're still willing to sell?
Has Nestle contracted for most if not all?
Prepare for war if Harper starts draining the Great Lakes
Without leaving enough near Niagara to fall.
