We're Not Embarrassed
Desperate old Republican hypocrites sing the tune
"I Can't Begin to Tell You"

We can't begin to tell you
    how much we didn't mean.
Ignoring what we've said is what we do.

Not only can't we tell you.
No way could we come clean.
If we remembered every lie, PU.

We don't do pretty speeches.
Hypocrisy's an art.
Requiring allegations of
A constant change of heart.

So take the biggest whoppers
    we Senators can tell,
And make believe
    Rush Limbaugh said they're true.

Since there's no way to tell you
    how much we never meant,
How can we be expected to repent?

Why would we be embarrassed?
    You've misjudged our intent.
We're trying to help Stupak with his rent.

He's muffed his pretty speeches.
Rent subsidy's an art.
He should have met with Rangel
And had a heart to heart.

So stuff those nasty Twitterings.
    Karl Rove's advising Hatch
To make believe what matters
is the time of day they're sent.
