Where's The Opposition Party?
(Look at what Steve Harper's doing and not doing.)

What kind of adhesive did the Babylonians use
To hold together their Tower of Babel?
A bitumen tar like the one Steve Harper's raping
From the wilds of Alberta with his imported rabble.

Imagine foreign workers from other third world countries.
Thousands and thousands digging away and being abused
By crooked contractors, not in the jobs that they signed up for,
But in menial tasks for which they're being used.

There's little oversight or planning in Steve Harper's Wild West.
Human rights? Never heard of as all will attest.
Dig out the goop as cheaply and as fast –
Don't bother to ask how long each resource will last.

Like Wall Street's sub-prime instruments, they will run out,
In Harper's case no more bitumen, no more water, no more natural gas.
Just thousands of immigrants with nothing to do
But join the burden of Canada's out-of-work class.
