Chalabi, we loved you,
   our favorite Iraqi –
Breaking up's so hard to do,
but now we need a lackey.

Not someone who'll criticize
the stupid things we've done –
Who'll find it hard to eulogize
us when we cut and run.

'Twas brilliant how you conned him
   and won his added clout,
Before revealing to Tehran
   where Cheney's hanging out.

We loved you even after
you fed us all those lies,
But heard your muffled laughter
   as we've searched for alibis.

You figured you could use us
to back you and your claque,
Quite confident no other Bush
   could re-attack Iraq.
