Are you paying too much For unleaded and such? Did our Congress just pass a big bill? Was it geared to appease With huge subsidies The oil giants bribing The Hill? Did they lessen dependence on imported oil, Or worry the Saudis might think them disloyal? How will you and I gain? Why give Exxon free reign? Don't you fear we'll be paying too much? Did they learn from Brazil, Or maintain in their bill Sugar tariffs to slow the pursual Of cheap sugar cane's Carbohydrate octanes By converting them into a fuel? Are they waiting for SAFTA or till oil wells go dry? Do they fear Sugar Barons might kiss Jeb good-bye? How will you and I gain? Why give Sugar free reign? Don't you think we could learn from Brazil?
