Supreme Court Justice Tom DeLay can never be impeached Despite illegal junkets and the foolishness he's preached. He claimed he wasn't guilty and who could ever doubt him? He changed the House's ethics rules; committees couldn't out him. No one could stop his nomination – there was just no way. He had the Congress pass a law: The next Justice? Tom DeLay! Couldn't be Karl Rove, Jeb Bush, Trent Lott, or even Frist. Like creepy Orrin Hatch they were too slow to get the gist Of what pugnacious Tom DeLay and lobbyists now claim Is the only foolproof way for him to never take the blame For illegal contributions, travel junkets and whatever; And, as he himself has proved, you needn't look that clever. The key is to promote yourself until you're high enough To rule that only you should be allowed to do that stuff. He'll bounce Chief Justice Rehnquist, and then do the same for Annan – With Bolton's help they'll outlaw any future DeLay pannin'. Who else could he be gunning for? What else could he replace?
