We hold our "truths" to be self evident, though often quite misleading. A lie with any ring of truth does not require lipreading. So what if things do not turn out the way you thought we said? You can never prove we lied. We didn't. We misled. Reverse ourselves? Admit we're wrong? Do you really think we'd ever? We're always right. We never "lie". We are way too clever. Predict the worst. Exaggerate. When we're right, we told you so. It didn't happen? Was not that bad? We're the greatest, don't you know! Look at our job loss predictions. Look how bad we said they'd be. They are bad, but not that bad. Guess who's getting off scot-free? Reverse ourselves? Admit we're wrong? Do you really think we'd ever? We're always right. We never "lie". We are way too clever.
